SURE SHOT

Sure Shot, whom we own jointly with Eric Hoffman of Bonny Doon Alpacas, is an incredibly fine-fleeced Peruvian male of Accoyo/Rural Allianza lineage. As a three year old, he boasted a crimpy 16.4 µ fleece with a SD of 3.6µ , a CV of 21.6% and a %>30µ of 0.6% as shown on his histogram. Since his dam still possessed an amazing 20µ fleece at eleven years of age, we suspect that he inherited the staying power of his fine fleece from her.

Sure Shot's first crias (7 males and 8 females) were born in 2003: 3 at Bonny Doon Alpacas, 9 at Fantasy Farms and 3 elsewhere. We were thrilled with their fleeces and their wonderful alpaca type. His later crias have been equally wonderful. All do a great job of impressing visitors.  Three great 2003 sons -- brown Fantasy's Tank, pale fawn Fantasy's Gunner and light apricot Fantasy's Redito  and 2005 son Fantasy's Champagne Charlie -- are available as stud prospects and are described on our Males for Sale page. Also available, is his darling 2005 dark fawn daughter Fantasy's Sure Sweet.

IIf you would like to add some powerful fiber genetics to your herd, consider breeding Sure Shot for one or two of your ladies. His 2006 stud fee is a reasonable $2,000.00
